I’m starting a seasonal newsletter as a slower, more personal way to stay connected.
I still love using social media. It’s fun to share adventure photos and moments from my life. But even the most detailed IG stories often feel like they’re missing something. I’m usually sharing with people who don’t really know me, or trying to fit a feeling into a format that doesn’t leave much space to go deeper.
This newsletter is a small attempt to balance that out. I want to invest more in a smaller set of relationships—the ones that actually shape my life. Over the years, the messages I’ve appreciated most have come from this group: people like you.
I was inspired, in part, by a podcast that asked: Is there a sane way to use the internet? One idea that stuck with me is that the platforms we use shape how we think. Fast platforms reward fast thinking. Slower ones make space for depth, reflection, and real connection. That’s what I’m aiming for here.
I’ve also long wished more friends, especially those not on IG, would do something like this. Maybe you’ll consider it. In any case, consider this an open door. I’d love to hear what’s going on with you.
